Lily and the Lost Ball
Lily loved to play with her bright red ball. One sunny morning, she was playing catch with her dog, Buster, in the park. Lily threw the ball very high, and it bounced over the tall fence! Oh no! Lily felt sad. Buster whined. They looked everywhere for the ball, but they couldn't find it.
Suddenly, a friendly squirrel chattered from a tree. It dropped something from its nest. Plop! It was Lily's red ball! The squirrel had found it. Lily clapped her hands with joy. Buster wagged his tail. Lily thanked the squirrel and hugged her ball tight. They played happily ever after.
