The Talking Tree
Once upon a time, in a big green park, there lived a very old oak tree. This was no ordinary tree! This tree could talk! Every morning, when the sun came up, the tree would say, 'Good morning, little birds!' The birds would chirp back. One day, a small squirrel named Squeaky came to the tree. 'Hello, Mr. Tree,' said Squeaky. 'Can I have some nuts?' The tree chuckled. 'Of course, Squeaky! Look under my biggest root.' Squeaky found many yummy nuts. He thanked the talking tree and ran off to share with his friends.
