The Little Blue Bird
Once upon a time, there was a little blue bird named Sky. Sky loved to sing. Every morning, he would fly to the tallest tree in the meadow and sing his sweetest songs. All the other animals loved to hear Sky sing. Mrs. Rabbit would wiggle her nose. Mr. Fox would stop his hunting. Even the grumpy old bear would smile a little when Sky sang.
One sunny afternoon, Sky was flying when he saw a small kitten stuck in a thorny bush. The kitten was crying. Sky knew he had to help! He flew down and chirped loudly to get the kitten's attention. Then, he flew to Mrs. Rabbit's burrow to tell her. Mrs. Rabbit quickly gathered some soft leaves and helped the kitten get free. The kitten purred happily. Sky felt very proud that he could help a friend.
