What are Titles?
Every book, movie, and song has a special name called a title. A title helps us know what the story, show, or music is about. When we write titles, we need to follow some rules. We always capitalize the first letter of the first word and the last word. We also capitalize all the important words in the middle. Small words like 'a', 'an', 'the', 'and', 'but', 'or', 'for', 'nor', 'on', 'at', 'to', 'from', 'by', 'up', 'with', 'in', 'of' are usually not capitalized unless they are the first or last word. For a book or movie, we draw a line under the title (underline it) or make it slanted (italics). For a song or a poem, we put quotation marks around its title.
