Follow the instructions for your volcano experiment. Then answer the questions below.

Materials Needed:

Small bottle or cup
Baking soda
Vinegar
Dish soap (optional)
Red food coloring (optional)
Tray or pan to catch overflow

Steps for Your Volcano:

1. Put the small bottle or cup in the middle of your tray.

2. Add 2-3 spoonfuls of baking soda into the bottle.

3. Add a squirt of dish soap and a few drops of red food coloring (if you have them).

4. Pour about 1/2 cup of vinegar into the bottle and watch what happens!
