The Wobbly Tooth
Lily woke up with a funny feeling in her mouth. She wiggled her front tooth, and it wobbled! 'It's finally happening!' she whispered. She ran into the kitchen where her mom was making pancakes. The smell of syrup and blueberries filled the cozy room. Her little brother, Tom, was already at the table, splashing milk in his cereal. Lily showed her mom her wobbly tooth. 'Oh my!' her mom exclaimed, 'It looks like the tooth fairy will be visiting soon!' Lily smiled, a little scared but mostly excited. She spent the rest of the morning playing in her treehouse in the backyard, carefully eating soft snacks, and imagining what the tooth fairy might bring.
