The Little Bear Who Lost His Roar

Barnaby was a small bear who lived in a cozy cave with his family. One sunny morning, Barnaby woke up and tried to let out his usual morning roar, but nothing came out! He tried again, pushing with all his might, but only a tiny squeak escaped. Barnaby was very worried. How could a bear be a bear without a roar?

He decided to ask his friends for help. First, he found Rosie the Rabbit, who was nibbling on clover. "Rosie, I've lost my roar!" he squeaked. Rosie suggested he try eating crunchy carrots. Barnaby munched on carrots, but still, no roar. Next, he met Freddy the Fox, who was practicing his sneaky steps. Freddy thought a good run might bring back the roar. Barnaby ran and ran, but he only felt tired, not roar-y.

Feeling sad, Barnaby sat by the sparkling river. He saw a tiny bird struggling in the water. Without thinking, Barnaby reached out his paw and gently scooped the bird to safety on the bank. The little bird chirped happily and flew away. Barnaby felt a warm feeling inside. He took a deep breath, and this time, a small but strong ROAR burst out! It wasn't as big as his dad's, but it was his roar, and it was back! Barnaby realized that helping others made him feel brave and strong, and that was all he needed to find his roar again.
