The Little Bear Who Lost His Roar
Little Bear woke up one sunny morning in his cozy cave. He stretched and yawned, ready to play. He tried to let out a big morning roar, but nothing came out! Only a tiny squeak. Little Bear was very worried. How would he scare away the buzzing bees or call his friends to play without his mighty roar? He decided to ask Wise Old Owl for help.
He padded through the tall green grass, past the chattering squirrels, until he reached Wise Old Owl's tree. "Oh, Wise Old Owl," he squeaked, "I've lost my roar!" Wise Old Owl blinked slowly. "Hmm," she hooted, "Sometimes a roar just needs a good warm-up! Try drinking some warm honey water." Little Bear hurried back, found some sweet honey, mixed it with warm water, and drank it all up.
He took a deep breath, and this time, a small but strong 'ROAR!' came out! It wasn't his biggest roar yet, but it was a start. Little Bear practiced all day, and by sunset, his mighty roar was back, louder and stronger than ever!
