Read the information below about dyslexia. Then, answer the questions that follow.
What is Dyslexia?
Sometimes, our brains work a little differently. For some people, reading can be tricky. This is called dyslexia. Dyslexia makes it hard to recognize letters and words quickly. It's not about being smart or not smart. Many smart people have dyslexia! Their brains just need a different way to learn to read.
Imagine trying to read a book where some letters keep moving around, or where 'b' looks like 'd'. That's what it can feel like for someone with dyslexia. But there are many ways to help! Special teachers can teach new ways to sound out words. Using your fingers to track words, listening to audiobooks, and practicing a lot can also help. It's important to be patient and keep trying!
