Lily lived in a small village nestled beside a dark, mysterious forest. One day, a fierce dragon flew down and snatched the village's prized golden apple, which brought good luck to everyone. Lily, though small, felt a brave spark inside her. She decided to go after the dragon.
Her grandmother, wise and old, warned her about the dangers but also gave her a magical compass that always pointed to true courage. Lily packed a small bag and set off. The forest was spooky, with twisted trees and strange noises. She met a grumpy old gnome who tested her courage with riddles. Lily answered them all correctly, and the gnome, impressed, showed her a secret path.
Finally, she reached the dragon's fiery mountain lair. The dragon was huge and scary! But Lily remembered her grandmother's words and the compass's guidance. She tricked the dragon into looking away and quickly grabbed the golden apple. With the apple safe, she hurried back, using the secret path.
When she returned to the village, everyone cheered. The golden apple brought back their luck, and Lily was hailed as a hero. She learned that even the smallest person can be the bravest.
