The Little Bear Who Lost His Roar

Barnaby was a small, fluffy bear who lived in a cozy cave with his family. One sunny morning, Barnaby woke up and tried to let out a big, happy roar, but nothing came out! He tried again, pushing with all his might, but still no sound. His parents, Papa Bear and Mama Bear, looked worried. Barnaby was very sad. He loved to roar!

Papa Bear suggested they visit the wise old owl who lived at the top of Whispering Mountain. So, Barnaby and his parents began their journey. They walked through a field of tall, swaying grass and crossed a bubbling stream. Barnaby felt a little scared, but he really wanted his roar back.

When they finally reached the top, the wise old owl listened to Barnaby's problem. 'My dear Barnaby,' said the owl, 'your roar isn't lost. It's just hiding! You need to find something that makes you feel brave and strong.'

Barnaby thought about this. He remembered how brave he felt when he protected his little sister from a grumpy squirrel yesterday. He took a deep breath, puffed out his chest, and thought of his sister. 'ROAR!' he bellowed. A magnificent roar echoed through the mountains! Barnaby had found his roar again, not by searching outside, but by remembering his own bravery.
