The Amazing World of Honeybees
Honeybees are fascinating insects that play a very important role in nature. They live in large groups called colonies, and each colony can have tens of thousands of bees! Inside the hive, bees work together to make honey, which they store to eat during the winter. But their most important job is pollination. As bees fly from flower to flower collecting nectar, tiny grains of pollen stick to their bodies. When they visit another flower, they carry this pollen with them, helping plants to make seeds and fruits. Without bees, many of the fruits and vegetables we eat would not grow. That's why it's so important to protect these tiny, hardworking creatures!
