What are Mnemonic Devices?
Have you ever had trouble remembering something important, like the order of the planets or the colors of the rainbow? A mnemonic device is a clever trick to help your brain remember information. It could be a short poem, a funny sentence, a song, or even a picture! Mnemonics make learning new things easier and more fun by connecting new information to something you already know.

For example, to remember the order of the planets (Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune), you can use the sentence: "My Very Eager Mother Just Served Us Noodles." Each first letter of the words matches the first letter of a planet!
