The Amazing World of Bees

Bees are fascinating insects known for their ability to fly and produce honey. They live in large groups called colonies, and each colony has a queen bee, worker bees, and drone bees. Worker bees are female and do most of the work, including collecting nectar and pollen from flowers. Nectar is a sweet liquid that bees turn into honey. Pollen is a powdery substance that bees eat for protein.

When a worker bee finds a good source of nectar and pollen, she flies back to the hive and performs a special dance. This dance tells the other bees where to find the food. Bees are very important for our planet because they help plants grow by spreading pollen from flower to flower. This process is called pollination.
