The Little Bear Who Lost His Roar
Barnaby was a small bear who lived in a cozy cave with his family. He loved to play and explore the forest. One sunny morning, Barnaby woke up and tried to let out a big, happy roar, but nothing came out! He tried again, pushing with all his might, but only a tiny squeak escaped. "Oh no!" he thought. "I've lost my roar!" Barnaby felt very sad. He went to his mother, who was busy gathering berries. "Mommy, I can't roar!" he whimpered. His mother gave him a gentle hug. "Don't worry, my little cub," she said softly. "Sometimes, when we are sad or scared, our roars can hide. You just need to remember what makes you feel brave and strong." Barnaby decided to go on an adventure to find his roar. He met a wise old owl perched on a branch. "Excuse me, Mr. Owl," Barnaby said politely, "I've lost my roar. Do you know where I can find it?" The owl looked at him with wise, blinking eyes. "Your roar is not lost, little one. It is inside you. You must believe in yourself." Barnaby thanked the owl and continued his journey. He helped a squirrel find its hidden nuts and guided a lost baby bird back to its nest. With each kind act, a warm feeling grew in his chest. Finally, he stood at the edge of a rushing river. A tiny bunny was caught on a log, drifting downstream. Barnaby knew he had to help. He bravely plunged into the cold water, pushed the log to safety, and helped the bunny hop onto solid ground. As the bunny hopped away, Barnaby felt a surge of courage. He took a deep breath, puffed out his chest, and let out the biggest, proudest ROAR he had ever made! His roar echoed through the forest, loud and clear. He hadn't lost his roar at all; he had just needed to find his bravery.
