The Secret Treehouse

Maya and Leo loved their secret treehouse. It was nestled high in the branches of an old oak tree at the edge of the woods. Inside, they had a small table, two crates for seats, and a collection of their favorite adventure books. Every sunny afternoon, they would climb up, pull up the rope ladder, and spend hours reading and imagining themselves as brave explorers or daring knights. One day, while reading a story about a hidden treasure, Leo exclaimed, 'This is just like when we found that old bottle near the creek! Remember how excited we were?' Maya nodded, 'Yes, and it reminds me of the book we read last month about the kids who built a fort in their backyard. They had so many secret codes, just like we want to make for our treehouse!'
