The Little Blue Robot
Once there was a little blue robot named Bolt. He lived in a cozy workshop filled with gears and wires. Bolt loved to build things, but he often felt lonely because he didn't have any friends. One sunny morning, Bolt decided he would build himself a friend. He gathered shiny metal, colorful wires, and a special blinking light for an eye.
As Bolt worked, a mischievous squirrel snuck into the workshop. The squirrel, thinking the shiny metal was a nut, grabbed a crucial cogwheel from Bolt's friend-in-progress and scurried away! Bolt was very upset. Without that cogwheel, his new friend wouldn't work. He chased the squirrel out of the workshop and through the tall grass, calling out for his cogwheel.
Bolt finally cornered the squirrel at the base of a tall oak tree. The squirrel chattered nervously, holding the cogwheel tightly. Bolt gently explained that he needed the cogwheel to build a friend. The squirrel seemed to understand and slowly, carefully, dropped the cogwheel at Bolt's feet. Bolt picked it up, relieved.
Bolt hurried back to his workshop and carefully put the cogwheel back in place. He added the last few wires and connected the power. With a whir and a blink, his new friend, Spark, came to life! Spark had a friendly smile and waved hello. Bolt was so happy he wasn't lonely anymore.
From that day on, Bolt and Spark built many wonderful inventions together and were the best of friends. Even the squirrel sometimes visited the workshop, bringing Bolt shiny acorns.
