The Honeybee

Honeybees are amazing insects that live in large groups called colonies. Each colony has one queen bee, many worker bees, and a few drone bees. The queen bee's job is to lay eggs. Worker bees are female bees that do most of the work. They collect nectar and pollen from flowers, make honey, build the honeycomb, and guard the hive. Drone bees are male bees, and their main job is to mate with the queen. Honeybees are very important because they help pollinate plants, which means they help plants make seeds and fruits.
