Read each question carefully. For each scenario, you will make a CLAIM, provide EVIDENCE to support your claim, and explain your REASONING.

What is CER?

CLAIM: A statement or conclusion that answers a question.

EVIDENCE: Scientific data that supports the claim. This can be observations, measurements, or facts.

REASONING: The explanation of why the evidence supports the claim. It shows the connection between the claim and the evidence.

Scenario: Two plants were given different amounts of water. Plant A received water every day. Plant B received water once a week. After two weeks, Plant A grew 5 inches, and Plant B grew 1 inch.
