What is Articulation?
Articulation is the way we use our mouth, tongue, teeth, and lips to form clear and understandable speech sounds. When we articulate well, our words are easy for others to hear and understand. Poor articulation can make your speech sound mumbled or unclear.
Think about how you say the words 'thin' and 'fin'. Your tongue is in a different position for the 'th' sound than for the 'f' sound. This is an example of articulation in action!
