Read each section's instructions carefully. This worksheet will help you practice forming and using plural possessives correctly. Remember, a plural possessive shows that more than one person or thing owns something.

A plural possessive noun shows ownership by more than one person or thing. Here are the rules:

1. If the plural noun ends in -s, add only an apostrophe (') after the -s.

Example: The two cats' bowls were empty. (The bowls belong to both cats.)

2. If the plural noun does not end in -s (irregular plurals), add an apostrophe and an -s ('s).

Example: The children's toys were scattered. (The toys belong to the children.)
