The Missing Bicycle

Leo loved his new bicycle. It was shiny blue with a bell that rang like a tiny song. Every afternoon, he rode it to the park to play with his friends. One sunny Saturday, Leo woke up excited for his usual ride. He ran to the garage, but his heart sank. The space where his blue bicycle usually stood was empty. His bicycle was gone!

A wave of panic washed over Leo. He searched every corner of the garage, then the backyard, and even peeked under the bushes, but there was no sign of it. Tears pricked his eyes. How could his bike just disappear? He imagined all the fun he would miss at the park. Feeling confused and upset, Leo told his older sister, Mia, about the missing bike.

Mia listened patiently. "Did you remember to lock it up last night, Leo?" she asked gently. Leo thought hard. He usually did, but yesterday he had been in a hurry to watch his favorite show. "I... I don't think so," he admitted, his voice barely a whisper. Mia smiled. "Let's check Dad's workshop. Sometimes he borrows tools or moves things around if they're in the way." They walked to the small shed behind the garage. And there it was! Leaning against the workbench, sparkling just as he remembered, was Leo's blue bicycle. Dad had moved it to make space for a new project. Leo hugged his sister tightly, a huge grin spreading across his face. He learned a valuable lesson about being responsible and checking all possibilities before panicking.
