Read each set of directions carefully and complete the tasks as instructed. Pay close attention to every step.

Activity 1: Drawing Shapes

Follow the directions below to draw a picture in the box provided:

1. Draw a large square in the center of the box.

2. Draw a circle inside the square. Make sure the circle does not touch the edges of the square.

3. Draw two small triangles on top of the square, next to each other, to look like ears.

4. Draw a small rectangle below the square, in the center, to look like a neck.

5. Draw two parallel lines from the bottom of the rectangle, extending downwards, to represent legs.

Activity 2: Following Recipe Directions

Read the recipe for a simple fruit salad. Then answer the questions.

Simple Fruit Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

- 1 cup strawberries, sliced

- 1 cup blueberries

- 1 cup grapes, halved

- 1 banana, sliced

- 2 tablespoons honey

- 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Directions:

1. Gently wash all the fruit. Make sure to dry them thoroughly.

2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced strawberries, blueberries, and halved grapes.

3. In a small separate bowl, whisk together the honey and lemon juice.

4. Pour the honey-lemon mixture over the fruit in the large bowl.

5. Add the sliced banana last and gently toss everything together until well combined. Serve immediately or chill.
