The Whispering Woods

Lily loved exploring. Her favorite place was the old woods behind her house, which everyone called 'The Whispering Woods.' Lily smiled, feeling a warmth spread through her chest. As she turned to head home, she spotted a beautiful, iridescent feather on the ground – a gift, she thought, from the grateful fox.
