The old lighthouse stood tall on the rocky coast of Oakhaven, its beam sweeping across the choppy, dark waters of the Atlantic. Eleven-year-old Lily, a girl with a spirit as wild as the sea, lived there with her grandfather, a retired sailor. One stormy evening, as the wind howled and rain lashed against the windows, a small fishing boat was caught in the tempest. Its lights flickered, growing fainter with each passing wave. Lily, watching from the lantern room, knew she had to do something. Her grandfather, weakened by an old injury, couldn't make the dangerous climb to check the light. Gathering all her courage, Lily grabbed her grandfather's old oil lamp and began to ascend the winding, slippery stairs, determined to guide the struggling boat to safety.
