The goal of the 24 Game is to use all four numbers and any of the four basic operations (+, -, ×, ÷) to make the number 24. Each number must be used exactly once. Parentheses can be used to group operations.
Example: For the numbers 4, 2, 6, 1, a solution could be (4 + 2) × (6 - 1) = 6 × 5 = 30. This is not 24, so you need to keep trying!
A correct solution for 4, 2, 6, 1 could be (6 / 2) * (4 + 1) = 3 * 5 = 15. Still not 24! Let's try (6 - 4) * (2 * 1) = 2 * 2 = 4. Another try: (4 + 6) * 2 - 1 = 10 * 2 - 1 = 20 - 1 = 19. Try (4 + 2) * 1 + 6 = 6 * 1 + 6 = 12. Correct solution: (4 + 2) * 6 - (1 * 12) = 36 - 12 = 24. No, that does not use all numbers. A correct solution would be: (6 - 2) * (4 + 1) = 4 * 5 = 20. Still not 24. How about (4 * 6) * (2 - 1) = 24 * 1 = 24. This works!
1. Numbers: 3, 3, 8, 8
2. Numbers: 1, 2, 3, 4
3. Numbers: 5, 5, 5, 1
Fill in the missing operations (+, -, ×, ÷) to make 24.
4. 6 3 2 1 = 24
5. 8 4 2 3 = 24
6. 9 3 5 1 = 24
7. Numbers: 2, 4, 6, 12
8. Numbers: 10, 10, 1, 1
