What is Thought Stopping?
Thought stopping is a technique used to interrupt and redirect unwanted or negative thoughts. When you notice a negative thought, you can mentally (or even verbally) say 'STOP!' to yourself, then immediately shift your focus to something else, like a positive thought or an activity.
